A little over two years after BMP TAPPI joined the Essentra Group, 2025 proved to be a year of concrete results and further consolidation of the shared growth path.
With Essentra‘s support, BMP TAPPI continued to strengthen its production capacity, focusing on efficiency, safety and sustainability.
In 2025, production reached 528,854,632 caps, confirming the solidity of its industrial processes and its ability to respond to market demands.
Production efficiency and continuous improvement
In 2025, BMP TAPPI focused its investments on structural and organisational interventions aimed at improving production efficiency and business continuity.
The main activities carried out include:
- a significant increase in hot runners, which helped to increase tool productivity
- the completion of the tool room, now fully dedicated to the management and maintenance of moulds
- the installation of two new cranes/forklifts, for more efficient and safer handling of moulds
- the creation of a new office in the warehouse, designed to optimise shipping activities
These interventions have improved internal organisation and reduced operating times throughout the entire production cycle.

Sustainability and responsible resource management
Sustainability was also a central pillar of BMP TAPPI’s industrial strategy in 2025.
Two new materials were introduced structurally during the year:
- PCR (Post Consumer Recycled)
- PIR (Post Industrial Recycled)
The use of these materials made it possible to:
- increase the recycling rate of production waste
- to improve the overall management of materials
- strengthen the commitment to a circular economy model
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
In 2025, BMP TAPPI also invested significantly on the HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) front, with interventions aimed at improving the safety and operability of working environments.
The main initiatives include:
- construction of a new, safer and more efficient forklift reloading area
- installation of safety barriers throughout the warehouse
- placement of mirrors in blind spots to improve visibility during goods handling
The installation of 4 Big Bag emptyers is also planned for February 2026, an intervention that will further optimise the distribution of raw materials.

Market presence and award
2025 also saw BMP TAPPI strengthen its external presence and positioning within the Essentra Group.
Among the highlights were:
- the participation in the MECSPE 2025 exhibition, together with Essentra, as an opportunity to directly engage with the industrial market
- the awarding of the EcoVadis gold medal for sustainability to Essentra, an acknowledgement that rewards the group’s commitment to ESG issues and reinforces the value of the path undertaken
A look to the future
The 2025 results confirm the validity of the path started with Essentra and lay a solid foundation for future developments.
BMP TAPPI is continuing to invest in production efficiency, sustainability and safety, strengthening its role as a reliable industrial partner.
